Stripes

 

You need PSP

 

  1. open a new transparent layer 100 x 150.
  2. Open a picture with colours you like. I used this one

  1. with your dropper  you pick a colour you like, right click is background colour, left click is foreground colour. And fill  your transparent layer with this colour.

 

  1. go to image – add borders NO MARK in symmetric! Colour white or a colour of your choice.

 

  1. add borders, pick a colour you like and fill in right 100. You find your colour click with your right mouse button in colour and a screen opened. Click in the colour you like. Tip: first click several colours of the picture you like, now the colours stand in your memory, right clicking and you see these.
  2. repeat step 4 and 5, 6 times you have got something like this, end with a 5 pixels border!

 

  1. Open a transparent layer 2400x 2400 pixels.
  2. Go to
  3. and find the pattern you just make and fill your layer with it.

 

  1. Save as jpeg file.

 

Variation

 

  1. select your white stripes with you magic wand
  2. go to effects I use the dutch version of psp, in the English version all effects are on the same place.

  1.  – deformation – wave with these settings.

 

  1. now you have this

 

 

  1. Now open a new transparent image 2400x2400 pixels, select your pattern and fill your layer with it.

 

  1. save as jpeg file.

 

 

 

TIPS

  • You can select all your white stripes and give it a drop shadow or bevel.

  • Give your stripes a texture, go to effects-texture effects - texture and look for a texture you like

  • Select some stripes and fill with a pattern.
