Basic bookplate
1. Open a transparant image 550 x 300 2. Select your selection tool – rounded rectangle. 3. Draw your rectangle and flood fill it with white. 4. Selections – none. 5. new raster layer 6. select your selection tool – circle 7. draw a circle
8. fill with white 9. move this layer to the middle
10. Copy this layer and paste as new layer 11. Set this layer to the other site of your rectangle
12. Merge visible layer 13. Select the plate with the magic wand. 14. Fill with color, gradient or pattern of your choise. 15. effects – 3d effects – inner bevel
16. selections – none. 17. new raster layer 18. select your selection tool rectangle 19. draw a nice rectangle and fill with color
20. Select you selection tool – rounded rectangle and draw a rectangle.
21. Merge visible layers 22. click now at the delete button. 23. Select with your magic wand the rectangle.
24. Give it an inner bevel as in point 15. 25. Click with the magic wand into the rectangle. 26. effects – 3d-effects – cut out with these settings
27. New layer. 28. Select your selection tool – circle and draw a little circle
29. Fill with color 30. effects – 3d-effects – inner bevel with these settings:
31. Select none 32. copy these layer and paste as new layer and move it to the other site of your bookplate.
33. save as png file
Metal bookplate
You need psp and filter blade pro
34. Open a transparant image 550 x 300 35. Select your selection tool – rounded rectangle. 36. Draw your rectangle and flood fill it with white. 37. Selections – none. 38. new raster layer 39. select your selection tool – circle 40. draw a circle
41. fill with white 42. move this layer to the middle
43. Copy this layer and paste as new layer 44. Set this layer to the other site of your rectangle
45. Merge visible layer 46. Select the plate with the magic wand. 47. Go to effects – plug-in – flaming pear – blade pro and look for a nice metal effect
48. Select none 49. Select with your selection tool – rectangle a rectangle
50. Repeat point 47 only select your last shape 51. Selections – modify – contract with 10 52. Repeat point 50. 53. repeat point 51. 54. Click delete button you’ve got this
55. Click with the magic wand into the rectangle. 56. effects – 3d-effects – cut out with these settings
57. Select with your selection tool – circle a little circle.

Go to blade pro and select shape 59. Give the button a dropshadow. 60. Make a layer of the selection – selection – make layer of selections CTRL-SHIFT-p 61. copy this layer 62. move it to the other side of your bookplate
Save as png file.
