Materials: PSP

1. Open a transparent 250 x250 pixel image.

2. Select your selection tool circle and draw a neat circle.

3. Fill with colour, gradient or pattern at choice.

4. Effects - 3d effects – inner bevel with the following settings:

5. Now use your magic wand to click outside the button.

6. Selections – invert selection.

7. Selections - modify - shrink - 12 (mind this, 12 was what I needed,  check whether or not your bevel gets selected; if not adjust the shrink settings ) It is supposed to look like the image below.

8. Return to 3d effects – inner bevel – same settings but change the bevel to this :

9. Deselect all.

10. New layer – now select the basic tool circle and draw a small circle, fill with black. Repeat until you have four black holes if you want 4 holes in your button.

11. Merge layers.

12. Select all black circles by pressing and holding your SHIFT-button until they’re all selected.

13. Press the Delete button.

14. Now you’ll have 4 selected circles. Invert selection ( selection – invert ).

15. 3d effects – inner bevel with the following settings:

16. Deselect all.

17. Save as .png file.
