Paper dolls ( easy ).

You can get your paper dolls from this website: http://www.makingfriends.com/f_Friends.htm

Click on ‘print in color’ and save the images. Do this with your favourite dolls, favourite hair and favourite themes.

The easy way

1. Open the paper doll in PSP.
2. Open the outfit you want to use on your doll.
3. Make layers from both images by going to layers – make layer from background.
4. Click your magic wand on the white part(s) of the images and press delete.
5. Now open a transparent 800 x 800 pixel image.
6. Select the freehand selection tool and select the paper doll. Select by clicking around the doll.
7. Copy and paste as new layer onto the  800 x 800 image.
8. Repeat with all the items you want to use on the doll.
9. Start with the hair, copy and paste onto the doll. Move to the right spot, add drop shadow. Vertical and horizontal set to 1, opacity 50, blur 1.
10. Repeat with all the items.
11. Some items will need some work with your eraser, like the hats.
12. When all items are placed to your liking merge layers and cut and paste as new image. Save as .png file.

Hint: you may want to give all items a paper like texture, with the texturizer filter or texture.
