PSP
Materials,
Karin's shapes, make sure they’re in your Basic shape folder.
Fonts
Here
you’ll find lots of free fonts, Make a font folder, unzip the
fonts. Open several fonts and they’re
ready tob e used in PSP.
Mind this: I’m not going in much
detail for this lesson, for I don’t want to block your own
creativity. It’s just a manual or a guideline to make background
paper this way.
Open an image
2400 x 2400
-
Fill with colour of your choice.
-
Make foreground colour darker and
turn off background colour.
- New layer.
- Basic
tool, vector untagged, choose a nice pattern.
Add some patterns here and
there on your page ( press and hold Mouse button while dragging
your mouse ).
- New layer.
-
Make fore- and background colour
a little darker and pick a new basic pattern.
- Repeat step
5 several times until you’re happy with your results.
- New layer.
-
Select text tool and enter some words.
Use several different fonts
and try rotating the text as well ( select the text and go to
image – free rotation ).
-
Because you’ve put everything on
separate layers you can easily adjust the opacity – lower – so
that your page becomes more of a unity.
-
When satisfied, merge visible
layers.
- Now a
texture can be added.
-
Save as .jpg file.
